Please browse the gallery for a selection of drawing examples. Fully customized options are available and I would love to bring to life whatever you can dream up!
Ainsley re-created my dog Finley in his most natural state and I get the biggest kick out of sharing it with others. I keep his portrait hung in a vintage victorian frame on full display in my home because it always makes such a great conversation piece. She truly captured his unique features and gave me a piece of him I can now hold onto forever.

My Story

Ainsley Bonham Lawson is an artist and designer whose love of drawing began at an early age. Inspired by her grandparents, who were artists in their own right, Ainsley's skill and love of hand drawing was nurtured through endless hours spent imitating the works of British author and illustrator, Beatrix Potter. Years later, Ainsley would live in the Northwest of England and visit Hill Top Farm, where Beatrix wrote & illustrated many of her books.
Ainsley studied both fine art and interior design and has been involved in numerous creative pursuits. It was only after adopting her rescue dog, Ren, in 2020, that she rekindled her love for drawing animals and has since focused her attention on pet portraiture.
Ainsley and her husband reside in Mapleville, Rhode Island and are often found taking walks with their two rescue dogs, Ren and Scarlett, or fixing up their historic farmhouse.
